Researchers & Collaborators
MADFIG aims to attract more research, development and engagement to the Eastern Wheatbelt by providing a forum for agriculture in the Merredin Shire and surrounding districts.
We provide direction and input into relevant and strategic research trials, demonstrations and programs that directly address key agricultural issues identified by our grower members.
We know that Farmers share and learn from each other’s experiences & ideas in order to improve the robustness, sustainability and profitability of their members farm businesses and communities, so if you’re a researcher or organisation interested in collaborating with us on future projects or new, cutting edge research or trials, please contact us.
We are currently developing an Agribusiness Mentoring Network to support early career researchers, agribusiness and farmers. MADFIG is keen to encourage early career researchers interested in working in our low rainfall areas.
